Welcome!

The Stowmarket Table Tennis club, located in Suffolk, England, runs a comprehensive programme for all ages and abilities in a safe and encouraging environment for children and people with disabilities.

Equipment and facilities

The main venue at the Stowupland High School Sports Centre, in use 4 evenings in some weeks and it provides the club with four good tables, but we regularly have more tables in use. There are also four tables at St. Peter's Hall in Stowmarket used mainly for two daytime sessions. For junior coaching and the junior club, we have nine tables which can be extended to twelve when needed.

Club awards

The club has received a number of awards and grants including those from the National Lottery "Awards for All" programme, which have enabled us to set up a facilities for people with disabilities.

In 2005, the club received the Sport England Clubmark, indicating that we provide a safe environment for young people and cater for all ages and abilities.

Join us!

We eagerly invite new members, especially adults. We have entered two teams into the Bury St Edmunds and District Table Tennis League, and look to enter more. We also enter young players' teams into the Suffolk and Cambs Junior League (run by the Bury St Edmunds club), the National Cadet League, and have had a team in the Junior British League.
